TEDxUniversitasPrasetiyaMulyaJakarta is our graduate school’s first TEDx event dedicated to inspiring communities—beyond mere graduates—to find their way ‘Forward'. Our event seeks to provide opportunities in Jakarta for people to share ideas in the hope of propelling them forward. We were created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading”.
TEDxUniversitasPrasetiyaMulyaJakarta will invite 100 diverse visionaries as attendees. It’s programs will be recorded and posted on the TEDx website as well as their YouTube channel for the world to see. Our event is planned and coordinated by a team of volunteers from Universitas Prasetiya Mulya Graduate School.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxUniversitasPrasetiyaMulyaJakarta, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxUniversitasPrasetiyaMulyaJakarta event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
